Allan Francisco Segura Medina (born December 23, 1980)[ 1] is a Costa Rican race walker .[ 2] He represented Costa Rica at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where he became the nation's flag bearer at the opening ceremony .[ 3] [ 4] He competed in the men's 20 km race walk , where he finished in thirty-ninth place, with a time of 1:27:10.[ 5] Segura achieved his best result in race walking, when he finished thirty-second at the 2008 IAAF World Race Walking Cup in Cheboksary, Russia , with the fastest possible time of 1:23:12.

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
