Alexander Vladlenovich Shubin (Russian: Александр Владленович Шубин; born July 18, 1965, in Moscow[1][2]) is a Russian historian and politician.[2] Doctor of Sciences in Historical Sciences (2000),[1] Professor at the State Academic University for the Humanities (since 2003[1]) and the Russian State University for the Humanities (since 2007[1]).[2] He's also Principal Researcher at the Federal State Institution of Science Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences.[2]

He graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University in 1989.[2][1] He served in the Soviet Air Forces.

From 1989 he worked at the Federal State Institution of Science Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences.[1]

He is the author more than 25 books.[3]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
