Adelonema wallisii (synonym Homalomena wallisii) is a species of flowering aroid plant (family Araceae) native to Venezuela, Colombia, and Panama.[1][2][3]

It reaches about 6" (15 cm) in height, but with a much wider horizontal spread. The leaf blades are elliptic to ovate-oblong in shape about 5 - 8" (13 – 20 cm) in length, on rather short stalks, arching or recurving, bright-green with a markings of a marbled yellow.[4] It can be confused with the related genera Aglaonema or Dieffenbachia, especially Aglaonema pictum 'Tricolor' or Dieffenbachia 'Reflector', both of which have similar markings.[citation needed]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
