Abul Kalam Azad is a Bangladeshi businessman, former freedom fighter in the Liberation War of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Awami League politician and the former Member of Parliament of Rangpur-6.

Career[edit]

Azad was elected to parliament from Rangpur-6 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in an April 2009 by-election.[1] Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was elected from here and two other constituency, she choose to represent Gopalganj-3 which triggered by-elections in Rangpur-6 and Bagerhat-1.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
