Born in Erandio, Biscay, Angulo made his feature film debut in Imanol Uribe's Escape from Segovia (1981),[1] portraying Anot.[2]

Angulo died on 20 July 2014 at the age of 61 when the vehicle in which he was travelling veered from a road near Fuenmayor, La Rioja.[3][4] At that moment he was going to the filming of Bendita calamidad.[5] Then he was replaced by Luis Varela.[6] The Spanish director Mikel Rueda dedicated his film Hidden Away to Angulo posthumously.[7]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
