Vazgaikiemis is a village in Prienai district municipality, in Kaunas County, central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 41 people.[1]

Equestrian

Village is famous because of its show jumping field. Vaizgaikiemis hosts National Lithuanian Equestrian jumping championships and various international events. In 2010, Vaizgaikiemis hosted FEI World Cup Jumping 2010/2011 North Sub-League 6th stage.[2] In 2012, the Lithuanian Show jumping Nations Cup horse show was held here.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
