Puli Khumri, also spelled Pul-i-Khumri or Pol-e Khomri, (Persian: پل خمری) is a district of Baghlan province, Afghanistan.[1][2]

Demographics

The population of the district was estimated to be around 191,640 in 2004. Tajiks are around 50% of the population and make up the majority in the district, followed by 30% Hazaras, 15% Pashtuns and 5% Uzbeks. The capital city is Puli Khumri.[1][2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
