Pandu is a locality in Guwahati with nearest airport at Guwahati Airport and railway station is the Kamakhya station. It is named after Pandunath Temple located in Tilla hills part of locality. [1] It is situated north of Maligaon locality and have Brahmaputra River to north. Due to its location on shores of Brahmaputra River, it is major hub of river transport facilities with a port managed by port authority of India.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
