Lake Tineretului is an anthropic lake located in Bucharest, Sector 4, situated in Tineretului Park, covering an area of 13 hectares.[1] The park's designer, Valentin Donose, proposed the creation of a large lake, naturally fed by the groundwater, featuring three islands, two of which are connected to the shore by small bridges. The lake is monitored by birdwatchers from Bucharest due to the presence of rare bird species that use the area for feeding or resting during migrations and winter.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
