Chadwick E. "Chad" Harting (born February 20, 1972) is a retired American pole vaulter.[1]

He won the silver medal at the 1997 Summer Universiade.[citation needed] He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, in the men's pole vault.[1] His personal best jump was 5.80 metres, achieved indoors in January 2000 in Reno, Nevada.[2]

Harting was born in St. Louis, Missouri.[1]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
