Alpha Eta Mu Beta (ΑΗΜΒ or AEMB) is a biomedical engineering honor society founded at Louisiana Tech University in 1979.
History
[edit]Alpha Eta Mu Beta was founded by Daniel Reneau of Louisiana Tech University in 1979. It is an honor society for students studying biomedical engineering. It has since chartered 40 chapters across the United States
Symbols

Membership
[edit]Membership of AEMB is offered to the top fifth of juniors and top third of seniors in biomedical engineering, who have completed at least six semester credit hours (or the equivalent) of biomedical engineering courses.[1]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
