The 2023 Athletissima was the 47th edition of the annual outdoor athletics meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. Held on 30 June at the Stade olympique de la Pontaise, it was the 6th leg of the 2023 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit.[1]

Just 15 days after two athletes ran 12:41 at the 2023 Bislett Games, Berihu Aregawi ran a new world lead of 12:40 in the 5000 metres, leading some to call 2023 the "year of the 5k".[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
