Athner is a nagar parishad located in Betul District of Madhya Pradesh, India.^[1]

Athner is located at 21°37′N 77°55′E / 21.62°N 77.92°E / 21.62; 77.92, within the Satpura Range in the southern part of the district. It has an average elevation of 741 metres (2,431 ft).^[2]

Athner has a population of 11,915, of which 5,991 are male and 5,924 are female, per the 2011 census.^[3]
