Statement by Cossde

This page as seen weeks of WP:BATTLEGROUND and possible WP:NAT editing, with controversial content been added with single sources that are most cases primary sources that have clear conflict of intrests and even been labled "pro-rebal". Some other sources with WP:TRIVIALMENTIONS, that makes the content appear WP:OR. Request for more citations per WP:EXCEPTIONAL and WP:CHALLENGE have been refused. Hence I am requesting arbitration to settle this matter by establishing the quality, type and style of citations needed for this artcile. Cossde (talk) 05:19, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Statement by Robert McClenon (Cossde request)

User:Cossde - You requested that ArbCom declare Sri Lanka to be a contentious topic, and, in response to your request, which I supported, ArbCom declared Sri Lanka to be a contentious topic. Maybe you didn't know that this means that the special procedure of Arbitration Enforcement is used to deal with disruptive editing in contentious topic areas. Since User:Petextrodon was a party to your Arbitration Request, they have notice of that the procedures are in effect. It appears that User:Tame Rhino has not been notified of the contentious topic. I advise you to notify User:Tame Rhino of contentious topics, and file a request at Arbitration Enforcement for action against User:Petextrodon. I have not reviewed the recent history and do not have an opinion at this time on the dispute, but those are the next steps that you should take. This request will probably be archived and dismissed by ArbCom shortly, because ArbCom does not need to be involved further; the administrators at Arbitration Enforcement can hear your report.
