Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Riccardo Patrese, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. I have deleted again the reference about Riccardo Patrese being Jewish. That's incorrect, he is Catholic. The source of the information is wrong.

You again deleted this -- this time, with the assertion that he is Catholic. You supplied zero evidence of RS support for that notion. It appears to simply be your personal opinion. Or what we call Original Research. Original Research does not trump what an RS states. Mac gives no reason to delete an RS-supported text either. If you or Mac have RS support for your belief that he is Catholic, please supply it. Otherwise, see wp:rs. And wp:or. You can't delete what an RS book says, on the basis of your personal unsupported non-RS belief. The RS book does not need to supply any more that it supplies, and one RS book is sufficient -- and more than you have supplied to support your contrary contention that he is Catholic. The evidence is that I'm his son and I can assure that our family is Catholic. But besides this, how reliable is the current source that reports he is Jewish? At least it should not be mentioned his religious background being a delicate matter if no strong evidence is brought forward

• To answer your question, I again point you to wp:or. And wp:rs. Just click through those two links, and they will explain that we base our editing not on (asserted) personal knowledge, but what the RSs say. Further, as to the level of reliability of the book that you have been deleting, it is (again -- read the click-through) what we call an RS, in that it is published by Ktav Publishing House, a publisher of children's books and young adult books, award-winning, been publishing many books and for decades. Hi Spatres. Thought you might like to know that this issue was raised on the Reliable Sources Noticeboard (I've not directly linked, because it'll get archived soon which will break the link, but just go to that page and put Riccardo Patrese in the searchbox. There are now 3 opinions from uninvolved editors (Collect, Paul B & GRuban) which support the view that your father isn't Jewish based on that one source (i.e. sanity has broken out). I'd be curious to know whether you've any Jewish ancestors that you're aware of (obviously, it wouldn't be notable, and you'd not be a reliable source anyway, but at least it might explain the inclusion of his name in that book).
