I'm not sure if it should be in any of the Hindu categories if he really was a Sikh (but then, maybe he really wasn't real, I can't see any reason to believe this is true and not just a nice story made up by a poet many years after the supposed events to give a religious lesson, but as no one suggests that I won't).
