Speedy deletion declined: User talk:Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Mohananad Bhatti. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User talk:Wikipedia, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: U1 can only be used by the userspace's owner, and also doesn't apply to user talk pages. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 22:23, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for using Wikipedia as a blog, web host, social networking site, forum or a memorial site. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:24, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mohananad Bhatti,

In case you're wondering, I had stumbled upon a strange block notice in my watchlist (Special:Diff/981558986) and wanted to ask what this was about. When trying to write a talk page message, I saw your inappropriate and incorrect edit notice at Special:Permalink/981654854, had a closer look at your contributions and chose this option.

Making test edits on your user page is fine. Placing incorrect block notices, and trying to trick users into believing that a technical/administrative situation prevents talk page messages, crosses the line to disruptive editing.

Ideas for constructive contributions can be found at the Task Center and the community portal, for example. If there's something specific you have in mind requiring an earlier manual unblock, please provide clear examples in your request.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:41, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The page File:Wikipedia-website.png has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it had not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally you should clearly state:

  • the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 23:14, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
