Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Arabic Wikipedia
Hello Meno. Today I created an article on Jatt, an Arab local council in Israel. I linked it to the other language versions, which includes the Arabic article (ar:جت_(قرية)). I noticed that the country was listed as Palestine, so I changed it to Israel. I did the same for Ein Mahil. However, I noticed this evening that those edits have been reverted by another user. I restored the correct version, but it has been reverted again. The editor then posted something on my talk page claiming that my edits were deemed "unconstructive"! As you are an Arabic Wikipedia editor (you were the one who welcomed me to it when my account was created), I was wondering if you could help sort out the problem with that editor and encourage them to respect NPOV. Cheers, Number 57 23:10, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Number 57: Hi and thank you for your message. I removed the rollback right from the said user since he abused it by rollbacking edits that are not vandalism. However, I don't have time to mediate between the two of you. I advice you to write your complain on the Arabic Wikipedia Administrators' noticeboard Miscellaneous section where another admin may review the complain. Best wishes. --Meno25 (talk) 09:39, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
No luck so far. In fact one person who appears to be an admin has said "as everyone knows, Jatt is a Palestinian village occupied by Israel"... Number 57 18:24, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

Could use your assistance
Meno25, I see that you read arabic, if so , we could use your assistance on this page . It's a BLP with information sourced to news pages written in Arabic, therefore a sysop that can read arabic would be great (even better if you're familiar with the two news papers in question ! ). Thanks ! KoshVorlon 18:50, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- @KoshVorlon: Thank you for your message. I replied there. --Meno25 (talk) 20:21, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
