Quotations[edit]

Hi I would like to discuss our misunderstanding here. I don't want to debate out different vision about some historical problems, but only one technical issue - about the quality of the quotations. I don't think that you suggestion - to point only the book, helps us to provide reliable source, which can be verified. Maybe I am wrong, byt I am wondering how the readers can verify the source if there aren't the concrete pages? To read the whole books? And if they can not find such statement? Refards,--AKeckarov (talk) 14:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will explain this as simply as possible. You cannot change the existing reference tags into fact tags because that is blanking, which is considered vandalism (see Wikipedia:Vandalism). If you want further (reliable) sources, place a template such as this one in the section or any one of these templates. Hope that helps. Köbra | Könverse 14:44, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you about explanations! I am sure that you know what is vandalism ("...any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia...Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism). I hope you understood that in the most of the cases I don't ask additional sources (of course, if there are such reliable sources, the argue will stop), but I want to improve these sources. Therefore I'll put one of the templates. It can work in many of cases, but what you can suggest about this (Резолюция о македонской нации (принятой Балканском секретариате Коминтерна" - Февраль 1934 г, Москва) source? It's my turn to explain as simply as possible - As I explained in this case we have only one Historical document (primary source)- without ussue (some book, for instance), with probably wrong month (The Resolution is from January 1934, as I know). What kind of template I can use to explain that this concrete "source" actually is not a source, that there is something wrong with this "reference tag" ? If you insist to stay there, we have to find some way.--AKeckarov (talk) 15:48, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know what you mean. I personally think that foreign-language sources should give a brief translation of the passage used (as I explained here). Regardless of whether a source seems rather artificial, you mustn't remove it. What you can do is place that template like I suggested and if no one adds a reliable source to the section after a certain length of time, you can bring it to the attention of an administrator or request a community discussion on whether that particular information can be removed. Köbra | Könverse 16:00, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I added a template. Now everybody can see that the numbers of the pages missing avd evetually provide them. However how the reader can understand that this concrete (Resolution in Russian) refference did not provide reliable source? This is the first condition to find sombody who can help with reliable sourse - not only the page, but this concrete source?--AKeckarov (talk) 16:18, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to challenge as single source (for being unverifiable), place a {{Verify credibility}} tag next to the existing source for that sentence. Köbra | Könverse 16:26, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I did it for you so you know how to apply the tag in the future. Köbra | Könverse 16:31, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! :)--AKeckarov (talk) 17:01, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you changing Tose Proeski page[edit]

Why are you changing Tose Proeski page??? Didn't you see thge aromanian songs and that text about his parents???? His birth name was tudor.. clearly aromanian. So why do you think he is ethnic macedonian??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Camaradianis (talk • contribs) 15:44, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I'm not changing anything, I'm just reverting your senseless ranting and use of social networking sites as a serious reference. Köbra | Könverse 15:47, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But why that text is not good. "His aromanian parents... ". What do oyu want more???? And that song singed at 11 YEARS. You dont learn a foreign language at this age just to sing it. That is a proof —Preceding unsigned comment added by Camaradianis (talk • contribs) 15:57, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't make the rules, I just enforce them. Wikipedia says you can't use Bebo-style websites and YouTube videos as sources. So unless a reliable source says he is Aromanian, what you say about his language is only circumstantial. Köbra | Könverse 16:03, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you admin??? Ok, if the language is not enough then what do you say about his name? Tudor Proja. This is an aromanian name. He said his grandfather's name was Proja. Is this enough? What do you want more. His language, his name...And another question. Are you macedonian?
Again, I'm not saying he's not Aromanian. I'm just saying that you need a reliable source to prove this. Köbra | Könverse 08:00, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, i understand , but i wanna ask you why that source with "born to aromanian parents ..." is not reliable? It is on more sites, not just one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Camaradianis (talk • contribs) 11:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For it to be reliable, it should be written by a scholar or it should come from an interview or something of that sort (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources). If you can find another source that says he's Aromanian, you can show me and I'll tell you if its reliable or not. Köbra | Könverse 16:17, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's your problem?[edit]

Are you here to tag every macedonian article for deletion or what? The article "International Folklore Children’s Festival “Oro Bez Granici” - Skopje" is totally ok. No copied text, and I do not know why you consider it being not notable. You don't have something else to do? Cukiger (talk) 21:40, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

I have just seen the edit war between you and Revizonist and I must comment something. Please, give your arguments first before reverting him. Give arguments for the sections that you do not like and especially give reasons why you are deleting the images. Thanks --MacedonianBoy (talk) 09:46, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How ironic that Revizionist would ask you — another biased Macedonian (hinting your edit-warring and harassment), who is only as literate in English as he himself is — to voice an opinion on the matter. The fact of the matter is, I have provided many valid argmunets as to why I reverted him and it seems now that he is running out of lame ideas to keep his pictures of shit-stained monuments on the article. May I add, Wikipedia has a policy which specifically states that excess use of images in articles is to be avoided. Get it? Got it? Good. Köbra | Könverse 12:07, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We are literary enough to stop your vandalism. Do not offend other users you so called academic person. Got it? Get it? Razbra? --MacedonianBoy (talk) 18:21, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, that makes no sense. Secondly, you're just being a smartass. Köbra | Könverse 08:23, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the images[edit]

Yes, you are right, images make an article ugly if put "...onto a page with relatively little text.", but the article National Liberation War of Macedonia, is not an article with relatively little text, so your argument is negligible. Regards. --Revizionist (talk) 11:40, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

re: mediation[edit]

I am sorry that you feel that mediation is not helping that situation, but I would like to point out that mediation is about fostering communication between two or more parties, in an attempt to reach consensus, so you cannot expect the WP:MEDCAB to solve the problem in as little as a day or two. I am interesting to know if any one event has lead to your withdrawl from the article and would also like to let you know, that if you are willing to come back, I have not given up on your case. — ^.^ [citation needed] 00:18, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay, I've lost interest in that particular article. Thanks anyway. Köbra | Könverse 16:08, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Careful[edit]

Are you using some text editing tool? Your last two edits caused all linebreaks in the articles to disappear; see [1] and [2]. Gail (talk) 19:45, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that too and I didn't know why that occured. The problem seems to be caused by using Opera to edit articles. Köbra | Könverse 09:04, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Out of curiosity[edit]

Why, in your opinion, does a minority of the Makedonce sports fans use the Vergina symbol? I mean, this symbol is younger than they are, lasted only a couple of years and is pretty ugly - but in this respect there is no accounting for taste :-( Politis (talk) 13:08, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
