Legality of Cannabis by U.S. Jurisdiction

I've reverted your changes to Defence for Children International because you removed information and changed the article to an article about the Palestine chapter. Please start a new article about DCI Palestine if you want. Your text can be found in the article history.

There's an Template:Infobox non-profit that you can use instead of creating your own. Just insert text at the appropriate places.Sjö (talk) 12:48, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I originally created a page entitled Defence for Children International- Palestine Section on 27 June 2011 and am unsure as to how it then changed to Defence for Children International. I appreciate you letting me know and I will use the recommended template to make the required changes. Apologies Dci-pal (talk) 13:28, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Dci-pal[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Palestinian_Child_Prisoners.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Palestinian_Child_Prisoners.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? feydey (talk) 11:45, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Defence for Children International Palestine Section logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Defence for Children International Palestine Section logo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. mabdul 13:00, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

November 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Dci-pal) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Defence for Children International-Palestine Section. Thank you. mabdul 11:14, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, your username change request did not go through because Veromarie is already registered. It's possible to usurp this name by following the instructions here. Danger High voltage! 19:57, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dci-pal. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Defence for Children International-Palestine Section.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Defence for Children International-Palestine Section}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 17:23, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
