Noted your change to the Suisan B-29 crash. Be careful of the sources. The Check Six website is entertaining but cannot be counted on for accuracy. Example - they list the first X-31 as having flown 292 missions, but it actually crashed on its 67th flight. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Ferris Red Oak Muni a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Hi Carguychris,

I see you've been adding all sorts of colors in some car timeline templates. A lot of them appear to be linked to where they were built or by whom. I have to ask, is this really necessary or useful? The primary function of these timeline templates is to show what models were available when. They're also grouped by body type or size. Any other info can be found in the model pages themselves. IMO, the extra colors just distract from the rest of the timeline. The practice of using color codes for models offered in some markets and not others is fairly common on automotive timelines. I could not find a WikiProject timeline style guide so I got creative. Hi. I prefer to write on your talk page. Yes I agree with you concerning the length of the list, which I contributed adding, since last June, approximately over 900 airlines and it's no over. To split the table into smaller would be the solution. I adopted this system in the List of lighthouses in Italy. The current table would be divided by State using the cut and paste method. • Hello and good day. I would like to add an incident to Phoenix Skyharbor Intl Airport (PHX) Accidents and Incidents that paralleled the incident at Austin Bergstrom Int'l Airport last week. On March 13, 1990, a man from a mental hospital breached security and ran onto the runway at PHX and was struck by a Northwest Airlines Boeing 727 taking off, killing him. I noticed that you have been removing the slot 'Delta Airlines' as well as 'United Airlines' including their respective seasonal scheduled non-stop destinations of 'New York's John F. Kennedy' and 'Newark's Newark Liberty International Airport.' In news articles and websites, it states that Delta Airlines (and possibly United Airlines) will resume their seasonal scheduled non-stop routes in the summer of 2022 (while a date hasn't yet been confirmed). To remove these airlines and destinations from this webpage constitutes them as rescinding all rights to their respective routes and route network in which either airline has not yet engaged in as of January 14th, 2021. Not that you weren't right to take the repeated inline mentions of the Times-Union out, but ... I have put the name of the source into a lot of stories because I've had far too many random new editors put {{fact}} tags after sentences like that, remove them entirely or, worse, freak out on the talk page, because they believed it to be stated without attribution (usually because the footnote was several sentences away) and therefore unsourced. I noticed that you included the M-class and N-class blimps in the list of undesignated Navy aircraft. Both classes were acquired after the adoption of the first Navy airship designation system, so I don't believe there was ever a time when they were in service and undesignated. I would also like to point out that the G-class, K-class, and L-class blimps, while initially undesignated, were later assigned designations under the same system, so we should probably clarify that fact in the notes section. - ZLEA _T\^C 01:45, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Impressed civil aircraft could probably go in the main tables, with their status as impressed aircraft being noted in the notes cell. Technically, the B-314 designation was a company designation, a shortened version of Boeing 314 (the article is a bit misleading, the designation was not assigned by the Navy itself). Criteria for inclusion on the list of undesignated aircraft is that the aircraft never received a designation from a government designation system. - ZLEA _T\^C 16:36, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign aircraft used for evaluation should probably go in the tables as well. I don't know that any undesignated aircraft used by the US military (no matter to what extent it was used) should be outside the table, because the table allows us to include more information about the aircraft. ZLEA, I don't see a problem with putting them in the tables, but I suggest simply using the "Experimental" category rather than color coding. I've actually gotten into an editing dispute about color codes in tables! According to United States Coast Guard, "[The Coast Guard] operates under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security during peacetime, and can be transferred to the U.S. Department of the Navy under the Department of Defense by the U.S. President at any time, or by the U.S. Congress during times of war." Since we are already grouping the USMC with the Navy, it would be fitting to group the USCG with it as well. ZLEA, I decided to go ahead and combine the Coast Guard into the Navy table, with an introductory explanation. I put the roles under "Category", but decided to only use "Experimental" when sources indicate that the aircraft was obtained specifically for research, or the sources don't specify the role for which the aircraft was being evaluated. I noticed that you added the designation "FN" to various P-35-related and US Navy designation topics. Given the fact that this source states that the aircraft was never designated as such, and even calls out other sources as wrong, I think it's best to not include "FN" in any US Navy designation lists. - ZLEA _T\^C 19:04, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The disclaimers are a good idea, but I'm opposed to including it in the USN designations page and template for the following reasons: (1) Joe Baugher doesn't specify which sources he believes to be erroneous, so it is safe to assume that "some sources" includes Andrade's claim. Furthermore, in his list of sources he includes Ray Wagner's American Combat Planes of the 20th Century as the reference for the NF-1 never being designated under the USN system. (2) It would break the norm for the USN to assign a designation to an aircraft which was never actually acquired. (3) Given the fact that "FN-1" is probably a simple typo for "NF-1", it's almost certain that an author saw it and thought it was official and didn't even bother checking for documents. Unless there is an official document indicating the designation "FN" was assigned, a few challenged sources is not enough evidence to include it on a list of USN designations. - ZLEA _T\^C 20:53, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• Hello, Carguychris. Sorry for leaving a message on the talk page. A weird thing happened. I created Beijing 2008 (painting) and started to translate the full content from zh:北京2008 (油画). However, the page was moved to the draft. So I marked G7 and ran a speedy deletion. Now I got a warning that if I try to build the same article again, someone would request a page protection.

  I have no time on waiting the draft discussion. My timeline is today and I will retire surely. So my current solution is to leave a draft page and quit after translation soon. As I know, a draft will be marked to delete by G13 over 6 months. So do a favor. This article, Anti-Secession Act of 1861, is confusing and difficult to verify. I recently had a lengthy discussion at the Chinese Tea House to confirm that the two are the same thing, and that there is a huge difference in understanding between the English and Chinese papers. Anyway, Anti-Secession Resolutions of the New York legislature is a historical document that exists, but the Chinese government cited it when they enacted the anti-secession law, and Chinese jurists and the media coined a new term in English that they claimed was a federal law.

The new edit seemingly verifies my previous suspicion that the Chinese government was misrepresenting an extant but historically inconsequential (to the US) NY state resolution as an act of the US federal government. • I found another new term when I was looking for information. At the press conference, Wen Jiabao mentioned two anti-secession resolutions in 1861. The first one is this article and the second one is "East Tennessee Anti-Secession Resolutions".

I will add to the article that there is a small problem with the translation. The Chinese media almost translated it as Anti-Secession Act, but the Apple Daily story read Anti-Secession Act = Anti-Secession Resolutions of the New York Legislature, 1861.

I'll try to improve the wording, and if you think there's a problem, you can fix it. As for the East Tennessee resolution, I can only find one source in English. I will place the notice on the discussion page, considering that it will be retired tomorrow and this is the last edit.
