I've been using Wikipedia since I first heard of it, maybe in 2004. Wikipedia rocks the world.
In 2006 I started making tentative edits. So far, I do not write new articles. However, when I encounter an article that is unclear, misspelled, grammatically incorrect, or badly organized, I try to fix it. I'm suited for this task because I am a decent writer and a perfectionist and have been, in some of my previous lives, a copy editor, technical writer, and web information designer.
I grew up in San Francisco and spent most of my life there, but since 2005 I live in St John's, Portland, OR. I am interested in the history and geography of both places. I am actually interested in a lot of very diverse things. I may try to list them here sometime.
My intention, for Wikipedia, is to continue to fix problems I find in whatever articles I happen to read, and to help clean up articles for Project Oregon.
