Frank Nuttall is a professional football (soccer) coach who holds the UEFA PRO Coaching Licence and a Master's degree in Sports Science. He is also a FIFA Coaching Instructor.

He started his football career as a young professional player at Celtic Football Club from 1985-1987.

He has had various coaching, instructing and consulting roles with professional football clubs, national teams, national associations and confederations since 1992 and he has worked extensively in Asia, Africa, England and Scotland.

In September 2014, he was appointed Head Coach of Gor Mahia FC (Kenya) and led the team to consecutive Kenyan Premier League Winner titles in seasons 2014 and 2015, remaining unbeaten in season 2015 with 24 wins and 6 draws in the league competition. Overall, the team was unbeaten for 47 games from October 2014 to March 2016 and the team achieved a 'Treble' of the Top 8 League Cup, the Super Cup and the Kenyan Premier League and were finalists at the CECAFA Championships in Tanzania in 2015. He achieved a 65% winning record and 90% unbeaten record during his time at Gor Mahia including CAF Champions' League matches and was awarded KPL 'Coach of the Year' in 2015.

In March 2016, he joined Zamalek SC (Egypt) as Assistant Coach to Alex McLeish and achieved an 83% winning record and qualification to the CAF Champions League group stage, before leaving in May 2016.
