This template is used to notify users about pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion. Specifically, it is used for pages that have been nominated under section G8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, "talk page of a page which has never existed or has been deleted". This template is usually used in conjunction with {{db-talk}}; for other speedy deletion notification templates see the table to the right.

Usage[edit]

This template should be substituted on to the user talk page of the author of the page that has been tagged for speedy deletion.

If this template is used on a page that did not previously exist (that is, if the user receiving the notice is new user), the template automatically includes a {{first article}} welcome message. This welcome can be turned off with the |nowelcome= parameter as described below.
