Explaining my removal[edit]

I removed this section:

"A tornado drill could consist of:

  • Plan of escape
  • Types of dwelling affected
  • Monitor weather conditions - watches and warnings"

This seems to contradict the previous part that describes general tornado drill procedures. While the types of dwelling affected relate to specific tornado drill procedures, you wouldn't say the drill itself "consists" of this. The "plan of escape" part is covered in the earlier part, and the wording is a little misleading - you escape the building during a fire drill, not a tornado drill. As for monitoring the weather conditions, if it's a drill, there's not going to be any weather to monitor. Kansan (talk) 18:32, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of states that have statewide tornado drills?[edit]

I'd love to get more specific on the states that have statewide tornado drills, but obviously we need reliable sources for such a list, like how fire drills are sourced. Who can help compile a list with me? I know Virginia does one (and need a source for that), but otherwise...? SchuminWeb (Talk) 05:36, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
