The '''Mughrabi Bridge''' is a wooden [[bridge]] connecting the [[Western Wall]] with the [[Mughrabi Gate]] of the [[Temple Mount]] in [[Jerusalem]].

== History ==

To the [[Mughrabi-Gate]] led until 2004, an artificially heaped earth ramp. It allowed the visitors direct access to [[Temple Mount]]. During a snowstorm, but the ramp was collapsed. The wooden bridge was built in 2007 as a temporary measure, and should have stayed only a few months, until a stable and secure construction replaced the earth ramp. == Significance ==

At the spot where now stands the [[Dome of the Rock]], was up to the year 70 the [[Temple of Jerusalem|Herodian Temple.]] The [[Western Wall]] is the lasz remain of the original temple. The Dome of the Rock itself is under Palestinian / Jordanian control, and only people of Muslim faith through may to enter. Religious affiliation is checked.

''The Mughrabi Bridge''is an access that leads directly from the Western Wall to the Temple Mount. So far, the bridge was used by Israeli security forces and non-Muslim people and tourists to go to the Temple Mount.
