Summary

Description
English: Norton Gristmill at Big Ridge State Park in Union County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The mill was originally built in 1825. The current mill is mostly a replica of the old mill, although the original mill race and millstones remain. The mill is located near the Big Valley and Ghost House Loop trailheads in the eastern section of the park. The pinkish hue is due to the late afternoon soft natural lighting— the actual color is dark yellowish (the color of new lumber).
