Description
English: Monument to four highwaymen, Imber Range, near Tilshead. A slightly closer view of the 'robbers' stone' commemorating the death of one highwayman and the capture of three others. For details of the inscription see 521229 The monument is within a hundred metres of the centre of this square. The trees and grassland visible are all in this square. Note that this and the other images obtained here were with the kind permission of the Range Safety Officer who was with me at the time. This part of the range is closed at all times and accessible only with consent.
