Description
English: Joseph Watson, 1st Baron Manton (d.1922), mounted on a hunter. Portrait by Lynwood Palmer (1868–1941). Collection of Baron Manton, Houghton Hall, Yorkshire. Provenance: commissioned from the artist by Joseph Watson, 1st Baron Manton (1873–1922), together with a portrait of his racehorse "Love in Idleness", winner of the 1921 Oaks.
