English: The Help for Heroes sign at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Unit, Headley Court in Surrey, England.

A newly-refurbished greenhouse and allotment area in the grounds of the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Unit at Headley Court have been refurbished with the help of a local charity, The Queen Elizabeth Foundation, for the patients to use as part of their rehabilitation while there.

By using horticulture as occupational therapy the idea is that, from a physical point of view, patients will get used to working at different heights and levels, lifting and moving things around.

In addition, there is a cognitive benefit to this as it will enable patients to learn to ÔthinkÕ again and undertake tasks in a logical fashion.
