Description
English: The State of Minnesota erected a monument to the Mille Lacs band of Chippewa at Fort Ridgely for sending 300 warriors to reinforce the Fort Ripley defences during hostilities in 1862. It was dedicated in 1914 and the State made it the same size as the Monument to Minnesota troops the died at Fort Ridgely.
