Large photo of the flag was sent to me by Norma I. Alley, CMC, City Recorder, City of Newberg OR. About the city: Newberg is a city in Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 18,064. Official city website: ci.newberg.or.us/page.asp. Valentin Poposki, 26 August 2009 "...the City doesn't have any history behind our flag other than the creation was initiated by a previous Mayor in the 90s. The earliest date we can find an order for is 1997. The Flag has a picture of the official City Flower, which is the Camellia.
