Description
English: The reservoir water outflow control gear housing (valve house) below Edgbaston Reservoir in the Icknield Port Loop of the original Birmingham Canal Old Main Line built by James Brindley, 1769, in Birmingham, England. The reservoir was built to supply water to this canal. This low-level valve controlled water to the Birmingham Level of the canal from a weir just below it.
