Berufung in die Kirchenkanzlei

Der Rechtswalter der Deutschen Evangelischen Kirche hat als Referent für die Fragen der theologischen Vor- und Weiterbildung den Pastor Otto Langmann in die Kirchenkanzlei berufen.
Pastor Langmann stammt aus einer niederdeutschen Familie, hat den Weltkrieg als Frontkämpfer mitgemacht und studierte nach dem Kriege Theologie. Seine pfarramtliche Tätigkeit begann er in Mecklenburg, 1928 ging er als Auslandsgeistlicher nach Columbien, Ecuador und Guatemala. Er trat dort in die NSDAP ein und gründete die erste Landesgruppe der Partei im Ausland 1933 kam er nach Deutschland zurück und wurde als Hamburgischer Geistlicher Stellvertretender Gauobmann der Deutschen Christen in Hamburg. In weiten Kreisen bekannt ist seine Schrift "Deutsche Christen in der Zeitenwende".
