English: As seen on a January 2023 afternoon: the so-called "Bennington flag" is one of a series of historic flags that fly from or are draped on the side of Founding Fathers Pub in the historic Allentown district of Buffalo, New York. A longstanding pub where the theme is the United States presidency and the interior is decorated with portraits and memorabilia representing all 45 men who've held the office, Founding Fathers is run by a former social studies teacher famous for quizzing patrons on American history from behind the bar, and plays host to to pub trivia the first Tuesday night of each month where the topic is, of course, American presidents. |
