The more complex case of WookMuff (also recently blocked), requires more complex documentation. It is hard to imagine 3RR would be a basis. Cheers. Proofreader77 (talk) 20:22, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

:What are you babbling about, Pr77? (I was going to swear in acronym but its not my talk page, or yours, so I shan't). As I pointed out, Proofreader77, twice in the past 14 days you have agreed to limit yourself to a 1 revert limit, once I believe was THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY. So here you are in your second revert on the page. Do you even know what a hypocrite you are? WookMuff (talk) 20:26, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Talk:Frédéric Mitterrand

You've covered everything and given all sides their say. Good work.Don't get this (talk) 20:05, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The details are in the articles. At least the last time I read them. Jakeb (talk) 22:21, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

3RR warning on Roman Polanski

Thank you, I have made twenty times as many edits to Wikipedia as you have. --78.34.218.97 (talk) 23:07, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I revert only very rarely, and have today reverted three times in a row for only the second or third time. That's because the removal of those categories happened without rationale or consensus. I know what I am doing, thank you so much. --78.34.218.97 (talk) 23:12, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Frédéric Mitterrand ‎

Hi! I just wanted to stop by and say that was some good work you did on Frédéric Mitterrand - it looks like it might be enough to solve the problems the article has been having. :) Thanks! - Bilby (talk) 11:37, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: Note that 99.142.x.x added that (see edit summary) to make a WP:POINT.

It will be removed eventually for what it is. (But a case at ANI or Edit warring is probably going to be required.) The shifting ips make it more complicated. (Was already blocked once for 48 hours ... to no avail) Proofreader77 (talk) 18:08, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification I see you added a citation needed tag, that's the why of this FYI. Proofreader77 (talk)

Thanks, the user 99, well ......, seems like a sockpuppet investigation has been started about Jac, history of contentious articles like polanski would almost guarantee a few sockpuppets. Off2riorob (talk) 18:15, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

I don't really think that I should. I have been attacked many times when I was civil (which this editor wasn't) without admins doing anything. I'm not retracting my comment and no one should use the excuse that I should be blocked for saying a personal attack to an editor that has been doing it constantly. Admins let me be called a sockpuppet, meatpuppet, troll, disruptive, canvasser, and attracted to feces. I had to take care of all of that by myself or with barely any help. Joe Chill (talk) 22:04, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Those nasty comments got other people to be nasty to me. Even admins like when I reported Michig for calling me a troll, telling me to leave Wikipedia, and reverting my AFD comments or when someone brought up the false claim that I was a meatpuppet along with two other editors. Joe Chill (talk) 22:16, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have one more thing to say. It started happening a year ago and it is still continuing. It's difinitely not ancient history. Joe Chill (talk) 22:28, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re Cat

When it is clear which forum it should be in (which is what I'm trying to determine), I will notify. Proofreader77 (talk) 23:52, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarify I was seeking information of which forum to take it to. I have specifically not mentioned any identifying information. I will certainly notify when the forum is clear. (Note: no fixed talk page is complication) Proofreader77 (talk) 23:54, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarify 2 Dynamic ip changes bottom two numbers every couple of days(?). (User says numbers are due to provider technology.) When ip changes, user can't access old ones. Will need to communicate while that ip is active (complication etc). yada yada yada. Proofreader77 (talk) 00:07, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Polanski talk

See my talk The section directly above yours and the section I posted on Talk:Roman Polanksi. —Justin (koavf)T☮C☺M☯ 00:02, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fine I don't care - I didn't originally add Category:French rapists. All I'm saying is, if he is in that one, then he should be in Category:Polish rapists. —Justin (koavf)T☮C☺M☯ 00:05, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Wars: A New Hope

I removed something yesterday. Proofreader just noticed and, in his continuing efforts to tattle on me, reverted it. We are both at 2 reverts now so I dont believe either of us will risk reverting again. Also, I told Proofreader what it would take for me to stop. The sentence doesn't warrant a mention of the soviet imposition, and the sentence is also out of chronoligical order. If he or someone else could find the year that Polanski entered film school (I tried and failed) then the sentence could be moved into the next paragraph, which already starts with In the 50s, which could be converted to a link to polish history, all without the weird obsession with putting the word soviet in everything. Communism and its effect on polanski is mentioned later, and I haven't tried to remove it. WookMuff (talk) 19:58, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I was only attempting to calm it a bit..stop anyone getting carried away and it seems to have worked. Off2riorob (talk) 20:00, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, I am pretty sure its the 2 reverts thing :P WooKMuff... with a k... why is it so hard? :P WookMuff (talk) 20:05, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I never noticed, WookMuff..got it. Off2riorob (talk) 20:12, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: Documentary edits

FYI: In preparing for dispute resolution, there needs to be a series of well-documented actions.

I take care to document well. For example with respect to 99.142.x.x (now in 2nd block), I prepared the following.

Repeated addition/re-addition of CM category (consensus?)
Category: Convicted child molesters
Since unlocking of Roman Polanski (Most recent first)

NOTE: All adds by same ip user (lower pair of numbers shift - user gave notice of shifting ip - took a few edits to complete)

NOTE ALSO: 99.142.1.147 User_talk:99.142.1.147 48 hour block 17:42, 4 October 2009

The more complex case of WookMuff (also recently blocked), requires more complex documentation. It is hard to imagine 3RR would be a basis. Cheers. Proofreader77 (talk) 20:22, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
