Opinions about the monument

According to the to Vice-Premier of Ukraine V.Tihonov: "These people were not killed by the inhabitants of Western Ukraine, but by the bandits. In this case, we put a monument to the victims who perished at the hands of bandits. When documents about the death of those people came into our possession we could not get over it. We identified 100 victims, but we know that there were more. While aware of some 100 victims, but they had more. We now find all the lists sent from 43th to 57th year and is now organizing the Young Guard is searching for these people and I think we will find all. Unfortunately, by the direction of the previous Ukrainian government, many of such documents were destroyed, but we are getting help from the central archive in Moscow.[1][2][3][4][5]"
