St. Nicolas University: School of Veterinary Medicine is a small private international veterinary school in Dominica, West Indies, offering DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree in veterinary medicine. Classes in the School of Veterinary Medicine began in January 2021[1].
St. Nicolas University: School of Veterinary Medicine supports[2] Animal Rescue and Shelter, and also operates on its campus University Veterinary Referral Clinic.
Accreditation and Recognition
St. Nicolas University: School of Veterinary Medicine is chartered by the Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security,[3] as well as the Ministry of Education[4] in the Commonwealth of Dominica. School is also listed[5] by the American Veterinary Medical Association and its graduates qualify for entrance into the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) or the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) certification programs. It is also recognized and listed by the World Veterinary Association[6] under universities, institutions, colleges and schools awarding Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in the world.
