Gottfried Johannes Müller (10 April 1914 – 26 September 2009) was a German philanthropist[1] who founded an international Christian vegetarian orphanage, SALEM Children's Village. He had been a major in the German Luftwaffe during World War II.[2] He is credited also with designing the Kurdish national flag.[3][4][5]

He is the author of one German-language book, which has been published three (3) different times, in 1959, 2006, and 2011, in German.

Influence
He was an influential mind and funding source behind the Salem Village series of [Christian vegetarianism|Christian vegetarian]] orphanages. He is credited also with designing the Kurdish national flag.[6][7]
