Alanyurt is a small village in Güzelyurt district of Aksaray Province. It is at 38°20′N 34°19′E / 38.333°N 34.317°E. The distance to Güzelyurt is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) and to Aksaray is 35 kilometres (22 mi). The population of the village is 194[1] as of 2010. The agricultural land around the village is not enough to support the village. So a part of the village population work in construction business in big cities.
