On February 12, 2024, a mass shooting occurred at the New York City subway's Mount Eden Avenue station in the Highbridge neighborhood of The Bronx at 4:38 pm in resulting in one dead and five injured.[1][2] A 34-year-old man died, and five additional individuals, comprising 2 women and 3 men aged between 14 and 71, sustained injuries.[3]
