In April 2024, floods hit Kenya. The capital city of Nairobi was particularly affected.[1] The Nairobi River and the Athi River have both burst their banks displacing 40,000 people.[2] Over 100,000 people are affected.[3] At least 13 people have been reported killed.[4]
