The Satin Wave (Idaea subsericeata) is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is found in Europe.

The species has a wingspan of 22–25 mm. The adults fly in one generation from June to July [1].

The larvae feed on low growing plants such as knotgrass, dandelion and chickweed.
