MOS:DOC

Hello, I just used MOS:DOC while removing related honorifics from Desamangalam Ramakrishnan and then found that it is actually MOS:DOCTOR. I think that the former is fine to serve as a redirect for latter. What's your idea? - Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 00:31, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

AaqibAnjum, if you want to redirect the shortcut to the section, I don't see any problem at all. --Titodutta (talk) 08:28, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've started this. Please take it under your wing and expand on it and invite people to join. The Indian cinema challenge can still function separately and the entries tipped in or can merge if there is consensus. Basically we want to see articles improved on every subject covering every state and lots of destubs, not just new stubs! Best of luck with it, do Indian proud!!† Encyclopædius 21:55, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody is complaining that 10,000 is too much, but I think it's exactly what India needs given the scope and number of articles. What we need is some sort of contest to get it off to a good start!† Encyclopædius 09:09, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Thanks for your welcome message. I am still trying to understand the interface...so far so good. I need to know what happens next? Do you approve the page after which it goes live? How much time does that approximately take? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sameervbelvalkar (talk • contribs) 06:51, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kalavati Devi

On 11 May 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kalavati Devi, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Kalavati Devi (pictured) has built 4,000 toilets so that people in Kanpur would not be subjected to a "living hell"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kalavati Devi. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Kalavati Devi), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Request to Undo Page Move - Gurjar Kshatriya Kadia from Kadia Gurjar

Dear Tito Dutta,

similarly user Pawan Gupta moved page Gurjar Kshatriya Kadia to Kadia Gurjar, arbitarily without citing any reasons or citiation of names, I found it today only. Just checked he has already been blocked definately for his vandalism over many pages.

I request you to please undo the page move as Admin power you have, so that page creator and history are protected and page title of Gurjar Kshatriya Kadia is protected

Thanks Jethwarp (talk) 04:13, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jethwarp, done, regards. --Titodutta (talk) 04:35, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
thanks again :-) Jethwarp (talk) 04:46, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Namàste, dearest Tito, how are you? Me and my family are going well, after the trouble about the virus!

I opened this short page and I ask, please, some minutes of your time to correct my mistakes.

Thanks a lot for your important help, see you soon.

Ciao Rei Momo, I have made some changes, I have renamed the article to Io sono Mia. In case there is more than one film we generally name it Film (2020 film) or so. I have also made a few minor changes. I have added a citation needed tag also. Please have a look. --Titodutta (talk) 04:36, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Grazie mille for your visit. I added a reference to your "citation needed". Thanks again!!! See you soon. Rei Momo (talk) 05:47, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Thanks again for your recent DYK nomination - it went well we had 15,000 views. I continue to do these Nari Shakti Puraskar awardees including Sonia Jabbar who is an elephant friendly tea plantation owner. Obviously I'm not really sure whether the award is significant as others are saying "no". Could you cast an eye over that article and check its as good as it should be. All the best - Roger aka Victuallers (talk) 13:41, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • It is an interesting question. The highest women civilian award in a large country like India is a significant one, in my opinion. I am surprised to see the AfD. In future, if you create such biography, try to create those articles first who have got more awards, and have more notable activities in their career. This will make the notability thing clearer. You might post this at WT:INB (posting on an noticeboard in neutral-wording should be fine) and ask for expert opinion on the award and notability. Regards. --Titodutta (talk) 01:42, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
