Good job, creating The Ideal Scout. It was deserving of its own article, and doing so nicely cleaned up the R. Tait McKenzie article. BoringHistoryGuy (talk) 00:25, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Beach Bunny Swimwear[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Beach Bunny Swimwear requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Talpatra (talk) 14:59, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WHAT THE FUCK!!![edit]

How dare you convert an article (Lotus throne) to the appalling sfn style, in total breach of WP:CITEVAR, without leaving any hint of of what you are doing in edit summaries. This is seriously bad behaviour, & you should be blocked. Johnbod (talk) 16:54, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Johnbod, I suggest you read up on WP:NPA. Your messages here and elsewhere are troubling; from what I can tel Evrik did what they felt was best for the article, which is perfectly acceptable. That you don't like it is not reason to insult them and threaten them with a block (which no admin would even consider anyway). Primefac (talk) 10:54, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm also puzzled as to what's so "appalling" about {{sfn}}. It gives linkage from the cites to the refs, for one thing. If you object to the use of years, then that's {{sfnp}} anyway, not {{sfn}}. Andy Dingley (talk) 20:35, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Shepherd's hat[edit]

other promotion things I missed[edit]

Hi there! I noticed that when you promoted hooks, you removed their nompages from DYKNA manually – I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but WugBot takes care of that for you, you don't have to do it yourself. And it'll be hidden on DYKNA, so it's not an eyesore. Also, if you ever get tired of manual promotion, I wrote a script that makes it a little easier. Asahi Firearms[edit]

I see that you have copied and pasted the entire background section (presumably machine-translated as the grammar is atrocious) from the Japanese article. As I stated in my PROD rationale, all of the sources from the Japanese article are blogs and commercial sites, and they are not reliable - the information from them is not verifiable. Doubly so because the content has been machine translated, and it's well-known that machine translation is often inaccurate at best for languages that don't use the Roman alphabet. It is totally inappropriate to be adding this information without the ability to a) back it up with reliable sources and b) speak at least a modicum of the language to ensure that what you are saying is accurate. Adding CN tags to it does not make this acceptable. I have removed this content, I ask that you do not re-add it without backing it up with reliable sources. ♠PMC(talk) 23:35, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
