Cannabis Ruderalis

Wikipedia "fair use" image copyright tags.

Some general goals
  • Any part of the tag which requires the attention of the user should be in bold.
  • Usage should be specifically outlined whenever possible.
  • Images of specific media (i.e. DVD covers) should specify that they should be used to illustrate the media in question, not some tangentially related topic.
  • Overly vague or blanket tags should be rewritten or removed.
  • Any user should be able to understand whether a tag is correctly applied or not based on the contents of the tag.
  • False precision should be avoided in specifying usage.
  • Tags should not contain fair use media themselves (logos, etc.). If icons of some sort are desired (and they may well be, to differentiate tags at a glance), they should be GFDL.
  • In general, an emphasis on usage over media should be attempted.

All fair use tags have been rewritten; see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Fair use for a complete list.
