Not done Very few recent edits. Come back once you have done some recent editing so we can judge the quality of your edits. -Djsasso (talk) 20:41, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Benjicharlton[edit]

I am fighting vandalism currently with Twinkle and Vandalfighter would not mind being able to use huggle.... benjicharlton (talk) 12:46, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done Sorry - I don't think you've been editing with this account for long enough to show that you have the necessary experience to get rollback. GbT/c 12:50, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fahadsadah[edit]

I revert a lot of vandalism, and I believe that I could make good use of this tool. I promise not to abuse it. Thanks in advance Fahadsadah (talk) 16:37, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done While it does indeed look like you have been doing a bunch of reverting which is great. You have less than 100 edits. We would need to see a bit more edit history from you before we could give it to you. Keep up what you are doing and come back in a couple weeks would be my suggestion. -Djsasso (talk) 16:42, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

LedRush[edit]

I am a frequent contributor to the Rush, USA, and China sites, all which are frequent targets of vandalism. LedRush (talk) 21:31, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done With less than 250 edits to article space, and very little vandalism reverting there isn't much to be able to judge you on. Check back in the future. -Djsasso (talk) 21:43, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Antivenin[edit]

The rollback tool would assist greatly in reverting edits during RC Patrols Antivenin (talk) 13:48, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You've been here just six days - only fifteen of your edits are fighting vandalism. You need more experience. Certainly promising, I would suggest reapplying (either asking here or at my talk page) in several weeks time. Just be mindful - for instance, I do not construe this as vandalism, just misguidance. WilliamH (talk) 14:54, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BountyHunter2008[edit]

I wish to help out with the account creation process. I feel that I have the grasp of the main policies on usernames and also have read the documents on the account creator tool. BountyHunter2008 (talk) 18:15, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You can still participate in the account creation process. This flag is only granted to users who are hindered by the 6 account creation maximum - other than your own account, you haven't created any at all, nevermind hitting the limit. Please reapply if you do hit the limit when assisting. WilliamH (talk) 18:21, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

killerserv[edit]

Not done. I'm not seeing any vandalism reverts this year, and past history (reporting content-dispute as vandalism) makes me wary in any case. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 04:59, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • XF Law (talk · contribs · deleted · count · AfD · logs · block log · lu · rfar · spi) (assign permissions)
I believe this is needed to use Huggle, so I wanted to see if I could have permission to rollback. Thank you. XF Law (talk) 09:57, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done. You have absolutely no history of tackling vandalism. Rollback is not granted preemptively just so you can use Huggle. Furthermore you have only been here 11 days. Reapply in several weeks time once you have a history that shows you would be trusted with this tool, such as using the undo button. Thanks. WilliamH (talk) 10:19, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

bmurphy[edit]

I occasionally monitor our school's page and related pages for isolated, but repetitive, vandalism. I work at said school. Bmurphy (talk) 06:11, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done I appreciate your concern, but I'm sorry to say I cannot assign this permission. Your contribution history gives me little to understand your ability to discern between bad faith and good faith edits. Please remember that you can request non-preemptive page protection if the article receives recent & heavy vandalism. WilliamH (talk) 10:06, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phantomlegal[edit]

Hello, I am a representative of Phantom Entertainment. I manage the websites for the company. The company has undergone huge changes this year and I would like to be able to add those events and accomplishments to the Wiki - someone else is using Huggle to prevent this from happenning - I'd like permission to use the rollback feature with huggle to be able to revise our information. I am a novice using Wiki - but a quick read - any help you can offer would be appreciated. - I can be reached at contactus@phantom.net

Thanks for your time,

James DiMeo

  •  Not done Malformed request. Rollback is not granted preemptively. You have absolutely no vandal fighting history whatsoever. In fact, you have absolutely no contribution history whatsoever, your only edits are to this request for permissions page for the sake of your disclosed conflict of interest, and since your username is a violation of policy, do not be surprised if an other administrator blocks you without warning. •  Not done Good attitude, but I'm afraid you have no history at all of fighting vandalism and thus I am incapable of understanding your ability to discern how you would use this tool. Rollback is not granted preemptively, so consider participating in recent changes patrol, and using the undo button to build up a history. WilliamH (talk) 09:52, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moulding[edit]

Requesting rollback permission, please. With school back in session, it looks like juvenile vandalism is on the rise. Moulding (talk) 00:24, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not fully comfortable with granting here due to the very, very low level of contributions - however a long tenured account and what vandalism reversion there is seems accurate. Another set of eyes appreciated. Pedro :  Chat  07:48, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have to agree with Pedro. Additionally I can't see neither a need for rollback nor enough experience in vandal fighting. Therefore  Not done. —αἰτίας discussion 13:02, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stickybombs[edit]

Requesting rollback to make vandalism corrections easier. I like to go through recent changes several times a day and repair any damage I can find.
Not done Please come back when you have at least 100 edits, because at this time with only 39 edits I have little to nothing to go off of to judge if you in fact will use the tool appropriately. For the time being you can continue using the undo button or try twinkle. Tiptoety talk 14:08, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Winger84BlackBerry[edit]

Requesting permission be granted to my alternate account, which will only be used - outside of a few account set up edits - from my BlackBerry. I already have RB with my main account (Winger84). Winger84BlackBerry (talk) 16:41, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Message me on my talk page from your main account so I can verify you are indeed Winger84 and I will grant right away. -Djsasso (talk) 19:01, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

September 23[edit]

Suigetsu[edit]

I edit anime-based articles. The content and grammar of these articles is frequently vandalized by little kids that think speculation and fancruft belong on Wikipedia. Since these anonymous kids usually edit in multiple sittings (i.e. edit once, then decide they'll edit another character's section, and repeat), there's more edits than can be fixed with a simple revert. I would very much like to be able to rollback these edits to preserve the quality of these articles I edit.
I'm quite concerned because of this points:
  • reverting edits, which could be considered as good faith edits, e. g. [1]
  • The user was blocked two times (one time for edit warring).
  • Such edit summaries ([2], [3], [4],...) are worrying as well.
Perhaps another admin could have a look at this, too. —αἰτίας discussion 05:10, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like having rollback would have prevented the bad edit summaries ;) Also, blocks aren't relevant to the granting of rollback (unless of course someone is blockd for using the rollback feature). This does concern me though, I'd like to see what Suigetsu has to say about it. John Reaves 09:53, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Even though it's closed, I'd like to point out that although the edit was made in good faith, that one in particular contributed nothing to the article except for improper grammar and technically incorrect information, as Hinamori isn't exactly "a master" with Kido. "Talented" is a better word, so I kept it. No reason to let the article suffer because of one word. Same goes for most of the others; the "list" articles are pressed for length, and in most cases it's just restating stuff that's already covered. I'd think looking at the edits would have made this clear, but whatever. 207.80.142.5 (talk) 17:53, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done (edit conflict) Absolutely not. Those edits were made in good faith. The only reason I'd grant you Rollback would be so its automated edit summary prevents you from leaving such inflammatory and unacceptable ones. WilliamH (talk) 10:01, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"Inflammatory" comments like what you just posted? Sorry, but hypocrisy like that really boils my veins. I don't much mind the other admin comments, as they weren't nearly as polemic and, in your words, "inflammatory" as yours. 207.80.142.5 (talk) 17:56, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

sephirothrr[edit]

I have been a member of Wikipedia for some time now, but mostly have only made minor, stealthy edits. After recently facing problems with needing information from articles that had been vandalized, I decided that I would try to combat it as much as possible. Being able to roll back pages would help much in this quest. :-) Sephirothrr (talk) 03:20, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Perhaps you could get buy with WP:UNDO to demonstrate your knowledge of vandalism reversion first. In general rollback has no minimum requirements but just 20 edits is insufficent to demonstrate your ability to use the tool at this time. Feel free to reapply with a bit more editing history. •  Not done Regarding your most recent edit at the time of me writing, this is a) not a good faith edit and b) inappropriate to label edits like that as such, even if they are vandalism. WilliamH (talk) 10:24, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

jonlandrum[edit]

I'd like rollback rights to help thwart vandalism. I've seen a lot recently, and the job would be a lot easier with rollback and Huggle. Thanks. ~Jonathan (talk) 15:56, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You have less than 100 article space edits in the time you have been on wikipedia, and very few of those are recent. Please come back when you have some more edits under your belt so we can judge the quality of them better. -Djsasso (talk) 15:59, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to have this great tool back again. I used rollback once in an edit war and I regretted that. I was blocked 24 hrs for violate 3rr and I has learn my lesson. I promise not to misuse rollback again. Thanks

Ejhoekstra[edit]

Please could you give me rollback permission? Water related pages suffer a lot from vandalism. E.J.Hoekstra (talk) 13:18, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but you definitively do not have enough experience for rollback. I would recommend using undo or scripts like Twinkle first in order to gain some experience. At this point, unfortunately, this request is  Not done. —αἰτίας discussion 13:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Cool Editor[edit]

To ensure easier undoing of blatant vandalism on pages instead of having to view history, locate the problem, then undo it accordingly. I have undone a large amount of vandalised pages, see my contributions and monitor new pages and recent changes
Not done You have less than 100 edits overall. Please come back when you have a much larger number of edits so we can judge the quality of them before we hand you this tool. -Djsasso (talk) 16:49, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nissanaltima[edit]

It would be a useful tool in fighting vandalism.
Not done. Edits like [5][6][7][8][9] indicate that you're likely to use rollback for the wrong reasons. Please gain some more experience first and use more edit summaries. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:43, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not to butt in, but he's also likely to use it to insert such statements as "preferably described as" into encyclopedia articles.[10] I agree more experience needed. Nissanaltima seems to have good intentions but needs more editing experence before getting rollback rights. --65.78.212.92 (talk) 00:58, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
