Urbanuntil (talk · contribs), AKA Urbanuntil 1 (talk · contribs), AKA Waldemar15 (talk · contribs), AKA Madere (talk · contribs), AKA JkMastru (talk · contribs), AKA Janitor102 (talk · contribs) is a user from Mexico that has managed to have different sockpuppet investigations, possibly because of being able of moving to different locations. The accounts mainly edit Mexico-related pages, including but not limited to arts, architecture, brands, cities, landmarks, people, sports teams, stores, and universities by adding multiple unnecessary images to articles and other disruptive behavior explained below.
Background[edit]
The original accounts are from c. 2011 (named Urbanuntil) and were all blocked because of being operated by the same person. The commonly edited articles included Mexican soccer stadiums and clubs. Examples: [1][2][3][4]
By 2013, Urbanuntil changed to Waldemar15 (talk · contribs). Waldemar15 once again was blocked for creating multiple accounts, whose edits were related to Mexican soccer teams and players, and Mexican cities.[5][6][7][8]
In 2016, Urbanuntil (talk · contribs) was blocked for being a confirmed sockpuppet of Waldemar15, confirming the relation between both accounts.
JkMastru (talk · contribs) started editing in 2019 to Mexico-related pages, and got blocked for edit-/move-warring and the account harassed and did personal attacks based on geographical locations[9]. By 2020, Janitor102 (talk · contribs) continued editing Mexican cities and got blocked for making personal attacks based on geographical location. In Church of Santa Prisca de Taxco, Janitor102 restored an infobox added by a confirmed account of JkMastru, confirming a relation.
In 2020, the names of Urbanuntil and Sinkplil (talk · contribs)-Picklespitlizyr (talk · contribs) (confirmed sockpuppets of Janitor) were linked due to several disruptive edits performed by the accounts at Commons.[10] In December 2020, Madere (talk · contribs) was blocked at es.wiki as a sockpuppet of Urbanuntil.

Habitual behavior[edit]
Urbanuntil did not use IPs until 2021. All the accounts focus more on Mexico-related topics. Edits to sport-related pages (stadiums, players, teams) have decreased, but edits related to Mexican art (including museums), architecture (including churches and landmarks), and cities (anywhere in Mexico), have increased.
The patterns include:
- Additions of several images solely for decorative purposes and against MOS:IMAGES. They can be found in the main text or in galleries despite there is a Commons category in the article.[16]
- Unnecessarily replaces pictures.[17][18][19][20]
- Restores material previously removed because it was added by a sockpuppet.[21][22]
- Continues editing pages previously edited by a blocked sockpuppet.[23]
- Personal attacks based on geographical regions.[24][25][26]
