Comprehensive edits analysis
Originally blocked in 2014 under the persona MadMans1019, this user was for a long time inactive until March 3, 2018, when the Azbeztos account was created and blocked. After a string of similar socks, the legitimate account Cruizir was created which was originally blocked under CheckUser grounds. Since the block hundreds of socks have come out of him on multiple wikis, a good deal of which never edit.
Targeted areas, pages, themes
Cruizir has very erratic behavior, rarely picking targets. Over time, these are several articles he has shown abnormal interest in:
- Robert Lundy
- Dr. Franklin Perkins School (now deleted)
- Cruiser
- Cruizer
- User:Icewhiz, often fixating on trolling in the form of making exaggerated claims about this user (example).
Modus operandi
- Adding nonsense to articles, usually in their lead.
- Making accounts with offensive or disruptive usernames, then making accounts to attack users who report them. Such examples include: I love abusive usernames, then L293D reporting cruiser and Yes i am the cruiser with a zir L293D.
- Posting fake sensitive information about both admins and himself.
- Occasionally he engages in page move vandalism, which has taken up to half an hour to be fully cleaned up.
- Making dummy edits to gain autoconfirmed status, allowing him to do pagemove vandalism and edit protected pages.
- Trolling in unblock requests, talk page messages, and sometimes emails.
- Impersonating other LTAs, including BMX On WheeIs, who he most likely knows off wiki.
- When blocked on Wikipedia, Cruizir will move to other wikis (usually Meta or Wikinews) and continue vandalism. Please report his socks to SRG on Meta.
- He often uses web proxies. All socks should be CheckUsered so that their IP can be blocked too.
- Vandalism of user talk pages.
