  • Reason: I am a contributor to the French Wikipedia since March 1st, 2005 (>15,000 contributions) with the username Fourvin. A few days later, two things happened: First, there was apparently a mistaken import of a French page into the English WP under my username, even though I do not remember having created the account here at the time. Two days after this, apparently my username was used to hack user pages with a porn image (see Special:Contributions/Fourvin). I can of course certify that I did not perform this, which could be proved by comparing the IP addresses, I was using a fixed one at that time.

In April, I tried to create my account on en.WP but this was refused, probably because of the hacking, so I created this Fourvin-en to perform some occasional editing, while I created about 8 accounts on other WP (it, de, jp, se, etc.), all using the same Fourvin ID.

(In November that year, there was another attempt, through Fourvin, to import pages from the French WP on a subject I remember working on at that time, but it looks rather odd, while at that time I had a fairly good command of the ways to use WP.)

Later on in 2007, Fourvin was permanently blocked - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Fourvin.

I request to recover the use of this Fourvin account on en.WP to complete my global account in all WPs.

I observe that the target name has made only one edit and had no significant edit since 2006. So, I want to change to this username in en-wikipedia so that I can use the same username as in pt-wiki.
